Our experience with Valerie Fisher and her company Painting Etcetera continues to be outstanding! Several years ago, the exterior of our ranch style stucco home was in need of minor repair and complete repainting. Valerie was extraordinarily professional in her detailed proposal, and her painting crew proved to be reliable, well trained, timely, courteous and kind. They took every precaution to protect our home. The work Painting Etcetera performed for us surely enhanced the value of our property.

When we more recently focused on interior remodeling work, we were confident we could rely on Painting Etcetera and Valerie, with her understanding of the style and integrity of our home, and her knowledge of color and sense of style.

Valerie helped us completely update two bathrooms, oversaw the repair and repainting of the entire interior, including all doors and wood trim. She thoughtfully guided us in choosing fixtures and colors and integrating them throughout our home.

The final results were of such quality that we are now embarking upon what we hope will be our final interior project… upgrading our kitchen!

Again, we are depending on the detail-oriented Valerie and her high qualified painting crew, as they take our ideas , create an over all concept mindful of our budget , and guide us through the process of choosing materials and colors for the project.

We were referred to Valerie Fisher from a neighbor who had some work done and was very pleased with her work. So we gave Valerie a call and she came to our home. We discussed what we wanted done, which was wallpaper removal and then have the rooms painted. Valerie was very helpful with suggestions of paint colors. Valerie gave a quote for the work and a start and finish date. Her workers arrived on time they were quiet, polite and neat. At the end of the day they put everything away and cleaned up any mess.

Most recently, November 2009, Valerie again came to our home to do more painting. We wanted everything done right before the holidays and Valerie was able to complete all the work on time. We were able to enjoy the holidays with our newly painted kitchen, dining room and master bath!

We have lived in our home in Palo Alto since 1971. Over these many years, we have had mixed results, both inside and outside, from a number of painting contractors.

Valerie has worked with us for the last couple of years. Her team has painted the exterior and interior of our home. Her work is the best we best we have experienced. We have been extremely pleased with the  final product and have received numerous compliments.

Valerie does more than paint. She consults and advises also. Her expertise about paint quality, colors and finishes is invaluable . She self imposes  a very high standard and meets it. One example was a batch of paint that did not meet her standard after it dried. She repainted the room at her cost.

Valerie is so friendly and accommodating that my wife and I don’t even mind the inconvenience during the job. We plan to use her for our next project.
